Our Initiatives

  • Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

We fight to renew Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for immigrants in the U.S., ensuring families are not forced back into unsafe conditions. By protecting status and advocating for safety, dignity, and stability, we give immigrants the chance to build their lives and futures without fear.

The recent termination of TPS for Syrians has left thousands of families facing the impossible choice of uprooting their lives or risking deportation. With only 60 days to leave after decades of building their futures in the U.S., many are left without the time or resources to put their affairs in order. This timeline is not enough—it tears families apart, disrupts careers, and jeopardizes the safety of those who would be forced back into unstable and dangerous conditions.

  • Legal Pathways to Citizenship

For too many families, immigration status remains uncertain, leaving them vulnerable to disruption, fear, and separation. We believe that every immigrant deserves more than a temporary solution; they deserve the security and dignity of a clear path to citizenship.

Through this initiative, we fight for permanent solutions that move Arab immigrants beyond temporary status, giving families the stability, dignity, and belonging they deserve.

In 2024, we introduced an Amendment 457 to the National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 8070), which would establish a pathway for Syrians living in the U.S. under Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

  • Resources for Arab Immigrants

Navigating the U.S. immigration system can be overwhelming. Our goal is to bridge the gap between communities and resources to ensure that individuals have the tools, information, and support they need to feel safe, informed, and empowered.

We connect our community with experienced immigration attorneys who provide free legal consultations to help answer urgent questions and guide families through critical decisions.

Our bilingual resource guides provide timely immigration updates, “Know Your Rights” information, and step-by-step explanations of processes like work permits and travel documents.

For needs that go beyond legal status, we provide referrals to partner organizations offering housing support, healthcare access, and mental health services tailored to immigrant families.
